The next 7th International Conference on Medical Geology “MedGeo2017” will be held in Moscow, Russia, August 28 – September 1, 2017.
The Russian Geological Society (ROSGEO) hosts the Conference with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russian Federation, Ministry of Health Protection of Russian Federation and the International Medical Geology Association (IMGA).
MedGeo Conference will bring together more than 300 participants from Russia and countries of the near and far abroad.
This year the special focus of the Conference program will be on the following topical issues: Environmental geochemistry and human health; Soils in medical geology; Climate change and health effects; Healing geological materials. Modern and historical aspects of its use; Medical geology in the aspect of labor safety and occupational safety; Occupational health issues in geological and adjusted branches of industries; Medical Geology of the urban areas; Medical geology aspects of sustainability in the mineral and energy sectors: Medical geology and the health issues of geological surveys, prospecting works and mining production. Medical geology and the health issues of geological surveys, prospecting works and production for energy resources; Technical tools in medical geology research; Veterinary Geology - the health impacts of geology on animals; Medical geology. A Regional Synthesis; Water and health issues - As, F, U etc.; Health Issues associated with geogenic dust; Medical Geology topics in Toxicology, Epidemiology and Pathology; Emerging topics in Medical Geology: Regulatory Sciences, Nanosciences, and Risk Assessment.
The highly topical program of the Conference will include plenary lectures, keynote lectures, courses and workshops as well as field trips, which will give the participants the better understanding of the main issues on medical geology.
