We emphasize that the discussed article "Psychological science in the global world: challenges and prospects" analyzes some of the most complex scientific problems. We consider its concept, the formulation of acute problems, the thoughtful nature of the exposition, and its complex theoretical, methodological and practical issues. We note its role in the development of psychology, which includes both the equilibrium dynamics of the scientific community itself, represented by specific scientists, and the search for new psychological knowledge adequate to the conditions for the development of global processes. At the same time, the weakly expressed social determinism of the changes in psychological science and the insufficiently structured elements of the competitiveness of Russian psychology as a science that has grown on research on the identity of the Russian people are criticized.
