Low carbon development is the important measure to cope with global climate change,energy security and ecological civilization construction for tourist destination.Exploring the model of low carbon development could promote the energy saving and emission reduction and sustainable development for tourism industry on tourist destination.Firstly,the ecological factor was introduced into the system of sustainable development on tourism destination,and the 4E(Energy-Economy-Ecology-Environment) system of destination was built.Secondly,the five principles on constructing the low carbon development model on tourism industry for destination were put forward as following:adjusting measures to local conditions,comprehensive coordination,maximizing the comprehensive benefit,sustainability,energy conservation and emissions reduction be preferred.Thirdly,the thought on low carbon development model for tourism industry in destination was built from the following:construction basis,development idea,development methods and development goals.Finally,the mode of low carbon transition development for tourism industry based on 4E system was constructed from the followings four aspects:the energy system of tourism industry,the ecosystem of tourist destination,the environment of tourist destination and the low carbon economy system.
