Vegetation net primary productivity and their response to climate change is one of the core contents of global change. Application of remote sensing, meteorological data and remote sensing model of energy efficiency, the spatial and temporal variations of NPP in Hulun Buir grass ecotone 1982 - 2010 and its relationship with climatic factors were analyzed. Results show that:(1) The average of NPP of the Greater Khingan mountain gradually reduced along the EW direction, the minimum average of NPP was on The Hulunbeir Grassland(0 - 350gC ·m~(-2)a~(-1)),the maximum values of NPP were mainly distributed in the Great Khingan forest region(450 - 520gC ·m~(-2)a~(-1));(2) Near 30a the north - central area of the Greater Khingan mountains forest area of Pixel Size of NPP showed a trend of weak growth (0 to 5),other forest regions and vegetations of woodland and meadow of the west of the Greater Khingan (- 5 - 0) showed a weak falling trend,It was more obvious for the west than the east (25 - -5);(3) The relationship between NPP and growing season temperatures in forest region of northern study area was relatively close, grassland area of NPP was mainly affected by precipitation control.
