Simulation and forecast the future climate change were a plant ecology and bio-geography of one of the key research field,the quality of the genuine medicinal materials and ecological environment were closely related. This paper introduced the importance of climate ecological in the study of genuine medicinal materials,expounded the influence about the climate factor to the quality of the genuine medicinal materials,studied the climate suitability area of the genuine medicinal materials,and species distribution models and their advantages and disadvantages respectively,and discussed the future of direction of the research.
