英文摘要: Bischoffand Schneider (2016) contained algebraic errors in approximations of the ITCZ location. Equation (11) therein should read as follows: The original paper was missing a factor of 1/a in front of the second term on the righthand side. Also, Eq. (13) should read. The original paper contained a factor of 1/3 instead of 1/2 in front of the second term on the right-hand side. Finally, Eq. (B9) should read, and, as a result, Eq. (B10) should read. The original paper contained a factor of 1/3 instead of 1/2 in front of the second term on the right-hand side. These algebraic errors do not affect the results or conclusions presented in the paper. Acknowledgments. We are grateful to Ori Adam for pointing out these errors. © 2016 American Meteorological Society.
